The Pieta is a stunning movement piece which proceeds after Mary, mother of Jesus’s, monologue which remembers his night of birth as she stands below his cross of death. Set to contemporary minimalist, Arvo Pärt’s Da Pacem, a movement metaphor is executed in a magnificently splendid costume leaving all with breathless awe.
