Created with a visual pallet of multiple theatrical styles, The Journey of a King travels from the beginning of time into uncharted lands, spanning the events of a people and their God which points to the evidence, every step of the way, of a planned incarnation – God’s very own son, Jesus Christ. The audience is continually surprised by the depiction of God’s dealings with His people as we experience these traditional stories in an entirely new way. Something from ‘then’, and something from ‘now’ creates a bridge on which the viewer’s soul is able to willingly travel and search for the same courage, peace, wisdom and hope that these men and women found then in the hope of the coming of their King. Physical theatre techniques, mime, song, dance and pageantry carry the red thread of the planned incarnation from Genesis to Matthew – a truly unforgettable journey.
