Adapted from Marie Chapian’s novel, Of Whom the World is Not Worthy, an enthralling love story unfolds in former World War II Yugoslavia. A young peasant girl in the hills of Slovenia and a traveling evangelist, who is thirty five years her senior are trapped in their love for one another. Their marriage is unthinkable and their happiness doomed by mores, superstition and the horrors of war. Only one thing causes them to move against these odds and claim the right of their love to exist… their faith that God is with them. And Something More is a tale of courage and surmounting faith woven into one of the most astounding love stories of all time. The production is played in the style of Bertoldt Brecht’s Epic Theatre, with a full score of theatre music. Enough cannot be said concerning the production’s inspirational power.
